On Thursday, April 17th, consumer advocate organizations, CRC Board members, and supporters attended the 16th Annual Celebrate California Reinvestment! fundraising event.
In the festive ambiance of Oakland’s historic Rotunda Building, old and new friends caught up about the past year’s community achievements, listened to cool sounds by local jazz musicians the Roger Kim Trio, and enjoyed delicious food and signature cocktails. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of three Screaming Eagle awards, to Housing and Economic Rights Advocates (HERA), community leader Annette Smith, and Univisión, Noticias 14.
The Board and staff of the California Reinvestment Coalition wish to thank everyone who came out to be a part of this special evening. With your support, CRC will continue its efforts in 2014 to strengthen California communities by improving access to financial services for low-income communities and communities of color.
